| 1.1 | The name of the Society is West Kootenay Camera Club Society, and hereafter known as West Kootenay Camera Club, WKCC or Club | |
| 1.2 | The West Kootenay Camera Club official logo is as follows: | |

Article 2. Objectives of the Club |

| 2.1 | To promote the interest in Photographic Arts in the West Kootenay Area of British Columbia. | |
| 2.2 | To provide photography education and techniques and to practice photography skills through workshops. | |
| 2.3 | To provide the membership the opportunity to compete in both internal and external photography competitions. | |
| 2.4 | To provide the membership the opportunity to comment, critique and to judge other member’s photography work. | |
| 2.5 | To provide venues for members to display their photographic work. | |
| 2.6 | To raise funds for the purposes of financial support for the Club. | |
| 2.7 | To encourage members to participate in photography events. | |
| 2.8 | To establish and maintain a Club Website to attract new members and to display limited photos from the membership. | |
Article 3. Governance |

| 3.1 | West Kootenay Camera Club Society is a member funded Society to carry out activities for the benefit of the members. The Club is Registered with the B.C. Societies Act. | |
| 3.2 | In the event of dissolution of the Club, the Board shall have the sole power to decide the disposition of assets, including cash, after all debts are paid if any, to the greatest benefit of all current and in good standing members at the time of dissolution. | |
| 3.3 | The Constitution and By-Laws for the Club can be amended, altered or repealed only at the Annual General Meeting. Any changes in either the Constitution or By-Laws must be filed with the B.C. Societies Act. | |
