May 9, 2026 Creston Bird Festival Field Trip
Creston Valley Bird Festival on Saturday, May 9, 2026
Registration to participate in any of the events is April 1, 2026.
Events fill up quickly, so don’t delay your registration. Note that many are for a fee, or by donation.
We will gather for lunch at Saturday at 4:00pm at Jimmy’s Pub in The Creston Hotel (which also offers a discount if you are staying there for the festival). I have a reservation for 10 people, under the name Stephanie. Please RSVP to me at shaukaas@shaw.ca by Friday, May 8 if you will be joining us for lunch, so I can be sure we have enough seats.
If birds aren’t your thing, or you can’t make it to Creston that weekend, we may be adding a second field trip option, to Silver City Days in Trail, which is also happening then. Members are encouraged to visit that festival as well, and capture some excitement to share with the club. More to come soon about this field trip possibility.
