Meet up outside the Doukhobor Discovery Centre 112 Heritage Way, Castlegar, B.C. From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to photograph buildings and machines.

Mat Cutting Workshop
Jim Ford will have a workshop at the Castlegar Library on Saturday April 13th from nine till noon on mounting and matting photos in preparation for the Photo Show. Jim will help members cut and assemble their entries and is willing to supply a 16 x 20 mat board suitable for cutting the mat, a 16×20 foam core backing, linen acid free tape, double sided acid free tape, blades, and use of his equipment for a cost of $8 each. This cost includes Jim’s time, car gas and all materials so that the only thing the members will need to bring are the photographs that need to be to matted or mounted. Please let Ken Lebedoff know if you are planning on attending so he can let Jim know how much material he needs to bring.
May 11th Creston Bird Fest Field Trip
Members will meet up at Discovery Centre (1760 West Creston Road) Creston at 9:30 a.m. May 11th to meet up with the Kimberley Camera Club. Those members that booked will go on the guided canoe trip, those who didn’t go can wander taking pictures and then after there will be a joint lunch with the Kimberley Club.
